how do I know if I’m gifted or my child is gifted?

Sometimes schools will recommend screening or testing for you or your child, other times you may have never experienced an assessment but you meet the criteria for characteristics and identify with giftedness and neurodiversity. Many gifted people do some extent of masking to try and fit-in, this can cause emotional distress. 


what is 2E

2E abbreviates twice exceptional, giftedness being the first exceptionality and the other being something like a learning difference, mental health diagnosis, neurodivergence etc. 


gifted traits

highly verbal, inquisitive, sensitive, experiences overexcitabilities, curious, deep thinker, poses unforeseen questions, beyond the group, prefers the company of likeminded thinkers, complex/abstract humor, intellectual, guesses and infers well, self-critical. 


how can you see clients in two states

do you only work with gifted identified people

No! While I specialize in working with the gifted population and neurodivergence, I love working with parents, college aged people, anyone experiencing life stress, transition, anxiety interpersonal conflict or familial challenges (just to name a few). 


fees

My fees are listed for Georgia rates based on the market, if you have concerns about affordability, reach out and inquire about a limited sliding scale option. Texas fees are slightly different, please contact me to discuss.
